I love this piece! It’s organic, ikat-like pattern, it’s brilliant color, and the interpretation possibilities make me happy to look at! Maybe that’s why my couch is deep teal blue and my ottoman and other accents are red…? When I look at this, I see red birdies with little blue beaks and tail feathers…from a bird’s eye view, of course. Maybe sitting on the last ice of winter? Maybe taking a milk bath? Maybe perched in the pureness of a new spring season? I also see bright calla lillies, and it could even be an angel-food cake filled with layers of fresh raspberries and blueberries… I would have dug right in, too!
As SSU said on their posting, it’s perfect for the around-the-corner springtime! It’s so lovely, and there’s a perfect place in my little cottage that needs such a piece – crossing my fingers to win it!
I would love love to win this piece because I love your work! Also, my house is drab and full of neutrals and it needs some color like this to liven things up around here:D
It’s a beautiful piece of art! My family and I are hoping to move into a new home in the spring, it might help to inspire some new decorating.
I would love to win this incredible piece of artwork because I am graduating college in May and will be moving into my own place and need as much help as I can get decorating!!! Being a freshly graduated student, the budget is limited and I am in LOVE with this painting!!!!!
I love this painting, because it brings vivid and bold colors into a marriage of preppy yet edgy elegance. I would like to win this painting, because I can never have too much color in my life and I can never have enough of the Robin Egg/Tiffany Blue color that is in the painting!
I love her work, and especially this print! I’m putting my new bedroom together and have a spot picked out on the wall for it! I really hope to win–she’s so talented and I’d treasure this artwork forever!
I liked your page on Facebook!
This painting would be PERFECT in my new guest room! The start to my new room begins in a week and the walls will be paneled horizontally with pine and white washed then the rest of room will be whites with pops of color and this piece of art would be THE BOMB in there! Exactly my vision!

I love this painting! I just started following Laura’s blog lately, and I love her work! This piece is so bright and cheerful.
I’d love to win this piece so that I could give it to someone more deserving! I have a print of Laura’s like this one and my sister gawked over it so I would love to be able to surprise her with this one instead. I’d like to be able to give her far more than a painting, but the little things go a long way in value to her right now as she and her husband tackle each day with three kids under three years old. Choosing to keep siblings together, they have adopted all three the past three consecutive years so it’s a treat for us to give them things other than diapers and free childcare! 🙂 I know there are many who have done even more extreme with raising children and I’m awed by them, but this is what is close to me and I love to celebrate my sister and brother in law.
I love this print! It would look so good in my new house in the fall. : ) I hope I get it. PS- Sunny Slide Up Rocks!!!
For my new house!
I absolutely love this piece! It is so bright and fun. My husband and I are hoping to buy our first home this summer and this would be a perfect addition to it!

And I liked Sunny Slide Up on Facebook! Woo!
I love this art and would love to win it! I have no cool art and this could be the start to a great collection!
I adore this piece! The bright colors are so fun and instantly could breathe life into any dull space…my space isn’t dull, necessarily…but this would look awesome in the stairs of my hallway! Every morning I would pass it and start my day and think to myself, ‘I hope that today has just as many colors.’ And then I would smile, of course.
I would like to win this because we moved into a new house and we have so much wall space and not nearly enough things to hang on them. Also, this is a beautiful piece and would make us look like we have great taste. 🙂
I already like Sunny Side Up on facebook
I’m now following Sunny Slide Up on Pinterest

I just subscribed to Laura’s blog (love her iphone cases!)
It’a actually a very… feminine piece of art. I don’t think I would hang it in my own house but it would make a great present for my sister in law. She has ogies all over new [to her] house and she loves them! This pattern would go great with that wall paper/those curtains.
Love it!
I would love to win this art because it has bright colors and catches the eye. I really need a beautiful piece like this to add to my collection.
I’d love to win this piece because it is vibrant and beautiful like SunnySlideUp!!
This beautiful piece would look great on a wall in CA. Love it!
Our house is too neutral. This would be a great piece to change that…
I love Laura’s work. The colors in this piece are so vibrant!
This piece speaks to me of DIVERSITY! As a Unitarian Universalist, we follow 7 principles that reflect the honoring of diversity of all kinds and your beautiful print would be a great statement to hang in our church!
The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;
Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;
A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;
Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
Love it! Want it!!!
I would like to win this because it is FABULOUS and I have a very sad wall that it could truly turn life around for. I’m going to go subscribe to Laura’s blog now because I know if she made it to SSU she must be awesome. And…I want a second chance to win (for the sake of my sad wall of course). 🙂
Shame on me, I wasn’t following Sunny Slide Up on Pinterest. But I am now. Bonus!
