Wasn’t Valentine’s Day the best when you were little? I have vivid memories of creating “baskets” out of paper bags and taping them to our little desks in elementary school. We’d all go around dropping off our cards and candy into each bag, and tearing through them once the ‘parade’ was over.
And what would V-Day be without Conversation hearts?? My favorite were always the purple ones (but thinking back, I’m sure they all tasted the same?!). Sitting in a circle, we’d compare the sayings of each heart and make trades for ‘cool’ ones as the sayings got more creative over the years.
