We are a group of artists and friends who have made a conscious effort to seek out the good in life as a way to motivate, encourage, inspire and uplift. We find beauty in the mundane and strive to maintain a space where positive creativity is not only encouraged, but celebrated.
Each month we share useful and entertaining tips, stories and savvy adventures relevant to the specific season or holiday. All of our posts are centered around happiness and positivity, which we share daily through photographs, recipes, creative DIY projects, personal stories and various other unique formats. This is our “round table”; a place where we can come together and encourage others to pull up a chair and join us!
Individually, we can all bring something different to the table- a scrambling of various experiences, talents, and walks of life with one commonality; we all choose to live Sunny Slide Up!
MANDI HEILIG – Dry Ink Designs
HEATHER JOHNSON – The Creative Stack
Heather is owner of The Creative Stack, a local graphic design company that specializes in website design and marketing. She loves helping small business owners find their brand and voice in this busy world.
Heather has a zest for life and insists on taking the glass is half full approach to things. She celebrates the “never grow old” motto by silly faces, laughing, and dancing daily. She refuses to believe that she is on the uphill to 40.
She counts her family as her most prized possession and relishes in her role as a loving wife, daughter, sister and mother (to her 3 furry babies).
JENN DAVIS – George & Fran
Jenn was born and raised in a small town outside of Charlotte, NC. After graduating high school she attended college at UNCG and UNCC where she earned her BFA in Studio Arts with a concentration in Painting.
In March 2009 she began working with an American based company and was asked to spearhead their new division that specializes in international leisure and corporate travel sales. In the Fall of 2014, after coming to the realization that she had been neglecting her creative drive for many years, Jenn started a children’s clothing line, George&Fran, where she designs and manufactures clothing for the offbeat child! In the fall of 2015 she resigned from the company she started in 2009 to focus on George&Fran full time!
A few fun things to know about Jenn is that she doesn’t take herself too seriously, and neither should you. She is not easily embarrassed but has a tendency to over share. She loves to laugh and make others laugh, even at her own expense. She only washes her hair about twice a week and has a sweet spot for folk music. She is a vegetarian for health reasons but offer her a bite of carrot cake and she won’t always turn you away. Her family and friends are what motivates her to continuously better herself and she is happy to have joined with a few of them on this beautiful project!
