It’s that giving time of year. We give thanks. We give gifts. We give extra hugs to loved ones.
One of my favorite gifts to give at the holidays is a Global Giving gift card. GlobalGiving connects you to over 1,000 pre-screened grassroots charity projects around the world. It’s an efficient, transparent way to make an impact with your giving. My mom used her gift card last year to help Afghan women learn sewing skills and run a small tailoring business. She loved the email updates they sent her on the project throughout the year. Such a little bit can help so much!
Here are some great giving quotes that I created some free printables for – click image to enlarge and print. These would be awesome to sit out at Thanksgiving! (sized perfect for an 8×10 frame)
“No one has ever become poor from giving” – Maya Angelou
“Make all you can, save all you can, give all you can.” – Albert Einstein
“Only by giving are you able to receive more than you already have.” – Jim Rohn
